CHICAGO TURKISH FESTIVAL
Sponsored by the Turkish Cultural Foundation

Organized by Turkish American community and the Turkish Consulate General of Chicago, the Chicago Turkish Festival has been successfully entertaining its visitors at downtown Chicago's Daley Plaza since 2003. The Chicago Turkish Festival has become a model and an inspiration for the many ethnic groups in Chicago and was declared as the richest and best organized Ethnic Festival, by the City of Chicago Officials. Come and visit the 2006 Chicago All Things Turkish' Festival which will once again be held at Daley Plaza from September 13-16. This is the fourth year this increasingly popular festival will be held at one of Chicago 's busiest squares in the city's downtown section.

16th HOUSTON TURKISH FESTIVAL

It's time to embrace the Turkish Culture in our cosmopolitan city once again. Organized by the American Turkish Association of Houston, the Turkish Festival is coming to Houston on October 28th, 2006. Jones Plaza will be alive with the sights, sounds and aromas of Turkey. The local Turkish American community invites you to spend a delightful day and get a taste of Turkey here in your own home town without traveling 8000 miles. This wonderful event, which will be the 15th this year, outgrew its original location at the River Oaks Park seven years ago and has been held downtown ever since.

SEATTLE TURKISH FESTIVAL
Sponsored by the Turkish Cultural Foundation

TURKFEST is an annual cultural event held at the Seattle Center since 2000 and organized by dedicated members of the Turkish American community of Washington State. It is a celebration of Turkish culture through movies, traditional and contemporary music and dance, food, children's activities, exhibits, workshops, lectures, shows, contests and more...

By adopting the theme "The Land with Many Pasts is a Land of Hope for Many,"  TURKFEST '06 will bring together members of various colorful ethnic communities with deep roots in Turkey, where diverse civilizations have co-existed for thousands of years.  The Balkan, Caucasian and Sephardic communities of Washington State will join the Turkish community in the presentation of a unique cultural medley.   A special emphasis will be given to the cultural make-up of Istanbul, which reflects the multi-ethnic nature of Turkey like no other city.

Besides the two day-festival at the Seattle Center, visitors will enjoy week-long festivities that include Turkish movies and a concert by the group, Yeni Turku
